The following free tool was developed to help format keywords in Pay-per-Click (PPC) advertising. The tool will automatically add brackets and quotation wrappers to indicate exact and phrase matches respectively. The tool will also add to the existing list variations of a particular word. This could be a misspelling or simply a variation of a word. For example, say you have a set of keywords which use the word: "dog". Say you wanted to add to the list the same variations of keywords but with the term 'hound' instead of 'dog'. By using the 'misspelling' tool it is possible to add to your existing list a new list that is exactly the same - only the word 'dog' is now replaced with 'hound' When you are satisfied with your keyword selection you can them add the Maximum Cost per Click (MPC) values. With the AdWords advertising program the maximum cost per click is the maximum amount you are prepared to pay per clickthrough for your advert. It is possible to set a different amount for every keyword. The above tool is useful if you wish to add a maximum cost per click value (MPC) for a list of keywords. The minimum value is 0.05. This is not necessarily the amount you will pay as this is set to be less than the MPC of the advertiser higher than you in the list of adverts.

NEW keyword permutator - find all the permutations of your keyword sequences Misspellings or word alternatives Occasionally users misspell their search terms. Common misspellings can represent an opportunity for you. By adding some misspellings to your keyword list it may possible to 'buy' search terms at a lower cost than for the correct spelling. If your advertisement catches the searcher's attention after they submit the misspelling - you gain a 'click-through.' The FormatClick misspelling tool will go through your list of keywords and add to the list variations of the keyword misspelled. For example, if we used golf:gofl in the misspelling field and used the following keywords: golf the result would be golf This tool also helps to replace words with common alternatives |

Broad match and exact match are indicated by [brackets] exact match, "quotes" phrase match and broad match (without brackets or quotes). Exact match means that your ad will only appear if the searcher types in the exact wording included in your brackets (provided you have not exceeded your pre-assigned daily budget). Phrase match means that your ad will only appear if the searcher includes the phrase somewhere in their search term. Broad match means that the ad will appear provided the words appear somewhere in their search term.
