The following free tools was developed to help format keywords in Pay-per-Click (PPC) advertising and for potential usage in organic (Search Engine Optimization) SEO.
This site includes the following tools:
Misspeller
The tool can be used to add brackets and quotation wrappers to indicate exact and phrase matches respectively. The tool will also add to the existing list variations of a particular word.
This could be a misspelling or simply a variation of a word. For example, say you have a set of keywords which use the word: "dog". Say you wanted to add to the list the same variations of keywords but with the term 'hound' instead of 'dog'. By using the 'misspelling' tool it is possible to add to your existing list a new list that is exactly the same - only the word 'dog' is now replaced with 'hound'
When you are satisfied with your keyword selection you can them add the Maximum Cost per Click (MPC) values.
This tool adds two asterisks and a number after each keyword or keyword phrase.

2. Visit https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal.

When you are finished, highlight your words and copy and paste them into the edit keywords area of a pay-per-click
Permutator
The permutator creates permutations of the words in a phrase or phrases. For example, if you entered 'seo and ppc' you would see returned the following permutations:
- seo and ppc
- seo ppc and
- and seo ppc
- and ppc seo
- ppc seo and
- ppc and seo
Switcher
The program takes each word, ignores the first letter and then goes through the remaining letters replacing them with the nearest letter to its left or right on a QWERTY keyboard (if they exist - e.g. the 'a' character only has a letter to its right - not its left.
For example, if you entered SEM, the program would return:
- SEM
- SWM
- SRM
- SEN
Swapper
The letter-swapper creates combinations of the letters in words in a phrase. For example, if you entered 'blue cat' you would see returned the following permutations:
- blue cat
- blue cta
- bule cat
- bule cta
- bleu cat
- bleu cta
Notice that the first letter of each word does not change. The tool attempts to emulate the typing pattern where people transpose adjacent letters when typing.
